Artist Linda Stiles Smith
Naturescapes Studio, www.NaturescapesStudio.com
Linda Stiles Smith artistic path changed when she began sculpting snippets of nature in fine silver in 2002. It was when Precious Metal Clay, (PMC) the new medium in the art world, was introduced to her that she succumbed to the urge to use her hands in her artwork. She has recently been returning to her love of working with color by incorporating polymer clay into her newest works.
In addition to her BFA from Wright State University, Linda earned certifications as a Senior Certifying Instructor from Art Clay World, US and PMC Certified Artist from Rio Grande PMC. She has been internationally recognized for her fine silver work. Earning national awards for her painting she has pieces in several prominent collections including The Kettering Health Network.
