Like a warm quilt the patterns of the fields in this Midwest farm, was an inspiration to me. A color reduction woodblock print, there were only an edition of eight made. Printed by hand, each is considered an original print. colors are layered and after the 12 or so passes through the press, the paper begins to mold to the marks made by the chisel in the wood. This is evident in the 'puffy' pattern in the clouds - a nice effect, unplanned, but nice!
