High atop Haystack Mountain in Norfolk, CT is a small park. I would drive there for the quiet, even though there was usually other people there. This scene rejuvenated me, and the grouping of pines made me feel at home. Though the scene is the same, the trees have now been removed. Oil on canvas strip framed with an oak stained wood.
