Created entirely by the artist, Karen Hamilton, this pendant is fabricated in sterling silver. Karen cut and polished the dinosaur bone that is featured at the top of the pendant. The silver shield below it is made of reticulated silver, a process of heating the surface of a .820 silver alloy that causes the silver to wrinkle on the surface. It is patinated to emphasize the pattern in the silver and mesh it with the stone.  The double bail at the top can be strung through a chain, a neck collar or paired up with Karen's handmade chain!
